Anoushka is the Programme Lead of the Accelerating Healthcare Access initiative, this is part of her wider role as Programme Manager in the Philips Foundation, responsible for mobilising the 70,000 Philips people and capabilities in service of the mission of the Philips Foundation; To reduce healthcare inequality by increasing access to healthcare for disadvantaged communities. Anoushka is a super proud mum of Owain (14), regularly travels between Amsterdam and Oslo, loves swimming and the theatre, as well as renovating houses.
Erlijn is the Partnership Co-Lead at Ashoka, responsible for overall strategy of the Accelerating Healthcare Access initiative. Next to being director of Ashoka Nederlands the last 3 years, and now Global Corporate partnership & Allliance manager, Erlijn is a social entrepreneur herself, being the co-founder of Microkrediet voor Moeders, an MFI operating in South & Southeast Asia providing small loans to entreprising women. Erlijn's ambition is to contribute to a more just economy, accessible for the poor, with a special focus on social enterpreneurship, inclusive finance and Asia.
Maria is the Partnership Co-lead. Besides of this exciting role, Maria is the Co-Director of Ashoka Globalizer, a program she co-founded in 2010 to help social entrepreneurs scale their impact and to re-shape the field of social scaling. Maria joined Ashoka in 2003 to launch Ashoka Spain and to support the setup of Ashoka in Western Europe. When she's not busy working with Ashoka Fellows around the world, Maria enjoys running out in the wild, playing the piano with her eldest son and reading to her youngest daughter.
Annette is the strategic lead of the overall Accelerating Healthcare Access initiative. Next to being a totally enthusiastic volunteer at Philips Foundation, Annette works for Philips Capital, being in charge for Southern Europe & Africa. Annette loves outdoor activities, her preferences being horse riding and running. Travelling and interacting with various cultures is also one of her passions.
Tim write and edits blog posts, articles, and reports, participates in video creation, and helps with the practical execution of the communications strategy. As a member of Ashoka’s Correspondence Team for the last five years, Tim has helped make it possible for CEO Bill Drayton to accomplish the giant amount of work he does every day by transcribing dictated and handwritten memos and letters, editing and proofreading documents, maintaining our Salesforce database, and managing mini-mailings. Tim was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala (2008-10), where he led the creation of youth-focused content for a community radio station, and has worked at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Peace Corps headquarters, and Partners of the Americas. He has a bachelor’s degree in media arts/video production from Butler University in Indiana, with a minor in music. He enjoys singing, playing guitar, listening to podcasts, and performing in plays and musicals with his wife Sara.
My-Linh's role is to coordinate collaborative actions towards a common strategic goal for Ashoka fellows and Philips. Prior to joining Ashoka, as a PharmD and HEC Business School Graduate, she worked 10 years with international healthcare companies, from both the business and consulting sides, before creating a consulting activity for social entrepreneurs on their business development strategy and actions.
Ashwin is the healthcare sector expert for Accelerating Healthcare Access. A Senior Ashoka Fellow, Ashwin is a healthcare entrepreneur with interests in primary healthcare and mental health. He is the cofounder of Vaatsalya Hospitals and Seraniti. He is working on his upcoming book - The Healthcare Gamechangers due in late 2018.
Katie supports impact measurement in the partnership. She supports the partnership in addition to her full-time position in the Strategic Partnerships and Alliances team at Philips as a Program Manager. In her free time, Katie enjoys running (currently training for her first marathon) and learning Dutch.
Dan leads the local facilitation in the Netherlands for Accelerating Healthcare Access. Away from this he is the Community Builder for Ashoka Netherlands, which basically means that he is involved in everything. When he’s not building communities, he loves hanging out with his family and eating good food.
